About Ga Gitigemi Gamik: We Will Plant Lodge
The Ga Gitigemi (We Will Plant) Project empowers Indigenous Women and Gender Diverse People to (RE)claim their place as the traditional agricultural leaders in their communities by helping them (RE)cover and (RE)learn their ancestral ecological practices.
We are building a one of a kind center of Indigenous Ecological Knowledge and Agroecology to secure that future.
This program is open to anyone living on Manitoulin Island, with priority given to Indigenous people.
