Our 14th annual festival promises students a day of discovery to increase their understanding of STEAM subjects related to energy, electricity, conservation and the environment.

The Kids’ World of Energy Festival is helping to protect our planet through hands-on education. The festival offers Gr. 5 and 6 students a unique range of interactive STEAM workshops.

2022 Map of participating schools across Canada

Since 2008, the festival has engaged over 32,000 children and parents about the complex connections between energy and the environment. We traditionally held a Community Festival Day open to the public, providing activities and workshops for youth and adults, but that is put on hold due to COVID-19.
