Young learners will explore how sun energy and wind energy affect our planet in a fun, hands-on workshop. Through simple science experiments and creative art activities, children will discover how these natural forces generate electricity and help protect the Earth. It’s a playful and engaging way for kids to learn about energy and their role in caring for the environment.

The primary workshops align with many curriculum connections in Kindergarten to Grade 3. A few highlights include:

  • Engaging students with hands-on activities to make student learning visible
  • Encouraging a culture of inquiry through science experiments
  • Building literacy and introducing new scientific words with story time
  • Highlighting how human actions affect various environments, such as air, water, and habitats
  • Exploring responsible use of energy in our communities and inspiring environmental stewardship

All workshops are aligned to science and technology education curriculum. Suited for Kindergarten to Grade 3.
