Cabin Solar Installation Course in Nunavut

Relay Education and Arctic Renewables Society are excited to offer three solar training courses in Nunavut. These are free courses, open to Nunavummiut people.

The Cabin Solar Installation Course is a five day solar training program to learn the fundamentals of off-grid rooftop solar installation. The course will include electricity and solar energy basics, hands-on experience using demonstration solar equipment, and certificate training in Electric Safety Basics and Working at Heights.

• Iqaluit Training Course: February 24-28, 2025
• Iqaluktuuttiaq/Cambridge Bay Training Course: March 3-7, 2025
• Kangiqliniq/Rankin Inlet Training Course: March 17-21, 2025

Course will take place from 9:00AM-4:00PM daily.

Course Facilitators: Jackson Lindell, and Andrew Cahill, Relay Education and other accredited training partners.

This program is open to Nunavummiut. There is no cost to participate in the course. Participants must be available to attend from 9:00AM-4:00PM each day of the course.
